What’s involved in a workshop?
Our workshops champion the next generation to be active changemakers. We strongly encourage assessing your organization’s knowledge and strengths when selecting a workshop.
In our standard offerings, workshops are ready to be delivered virtually, focused on specific themes trubel&co’s workshops are offered as single workshops or multi-workshop series up to 5 workshops in a series. trubel&co’s standard workshop offerings include a range of workshops that are completed and ready to launch with interested partners. Target audience : high school youth. Each workshop is 90 minutes, with a workshop series designed to include 5 consecutive workshops that can be conducted weekly or biweekly.
Tailored workshops take our offerings a step further, incorporating your organizational needs and priorities into the content.trubel&co’s tailored workshops are unique workshops made to address specific client needs. These workshops may build on the standard workshops to adapt existing curriculum or generate completely new workshops depending on client needs. Typically workshops are 90 minutes, with workshop series spanning multiple weeks.

Tailored Workshops:
Tailored workshops are specific and customized to client needs. trubel&co has a range of tailoring levels available to accomodate different budgets and organizational needs. Target audience can range from middle school youth to working professionals.
Fully tailored workshops include a variety of features including complete tailoring to place (e.g., incorporating local data sets, community-specific case studies, and local hiring), addressing specific technical upskilling needs as outlined by the client (e.g., building specific technical and/or civic literacies as needed), and facilitating experience between students and their local community to engage in service learning projects throughout the workshop series. The workshops ultimately build up to individual student outputs (such as a mini research project) which trubel&co aligns with partners on.
