EcoGIS
An Environmental Justice x GIS workshop series
EcoGIS empowers high school youth to become champions of positive community change through the design of geospatial tools. Through the use of GIS, we enable participants to promote equity and environmental justice within their communities.
During this series, participants will learn how to harness the power of GIS and utilize mapping techniques to address social and environmental challenges. Through interactive sessions and hands-on activities, they will gain the skills and knowledge needed to create geospatial tools that foster positive change.
By combining technology with a deep understanding of social issues, we inspire students to make a meaningful impact and promote fairness and justice through their geospatial designs.
Sessions will occur virtually on zoom. Registration is open, with priority review of submissions by February 12th at 11:59pm EST.
Registration closes February 20th.
