Nick is a strategist, design researcher, and doctoral student in Management Science and Engineering at Stanford University, where his research focuses on the consequences of disruption, abolitionist technologies, and organizational dynamics that drive responsibility within urban technology startups. Nick has worked across the field of social innovation, most recently as a part of Sidewalk Labs (Google's urban innovation arm), where he piloted and scaled emerging products that improved quality of life in cities. Nick brings a decade of international experience creating and launching inclusive learning environments where students feel empowered to use technical skills to advance social change. Nick holds a B.S. in mechanical engineering and sustainable development from Washington University in St. Louis.
